On May 3, 2023, in the cinema hall of the Russian Embassy in the Czech Republic hosted a screening of the new domestic film “Nuremberg” directed by N. Swan. The event, timed to the 78th anniversary of the victory over Nazism, was organized by the Russian diplomacy in cooperation with the Alexander Pechersky Foundation.

In his welcoming speech, he recalled the role of the Nuremberg Tribunal in forming the foundations of modern international law. He noted that, despite the victory over Nazism in 1945, the threat of its revival is quite real, and therefore it is necessary to do everything to prevent it.
The film, which was the result of a joint production, including Russian-Czech production (demonstrated with Czech subtitles prepared by the Embassy), was perceived with interest by the audience. During a friendly meeting at the end of the viewing, they noted the high artistic level of the painting and its historical reliability. The screening of the film “Nuremberg” for the general public will be held on May 11, 2023 in the cinema hall of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Prague.

Screening of the film “Nuremberk” for the general public will take place on 11th. May 2023 in the cinema of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Prague.
