On the 31st October, the Embassy of the Republic of Turkiye has organised a formal reception on occasion of the 99th Anniversary of the Proclamation of the Republic. It will soon be 100 years that Ataturk proclaimed the new State, which continued the tradition of the Ottoman Empire. The prestigious event has been held at the Grand Bohemian Boat on the Vltava River. His Excellency Egenem Bagis, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkiye, has presided over the ceremony.
A high number of distinguished guests has attended the Reception. In particular. we feel to mention the President Emeritus of the Czech Republic, His Excellency Vaclav Klaus, who has offered a speech.
Turkish delicacies have been available as part of a very nice atmosphere
