Amazon’s The Wheel of Time Returns to Prague with Season Three

PRAGUE: The third season of the fantasy series The Wheel of Time produced by Amazon Studios for Amazon Prime Video is currently shooting in Prague. The shooting is due to continue till 25 October 2023. The first two seasons were also shot in the Czech Republic

Jordan Studios, the 32,000 square metre former truck factory leased by The Wheel of Time production and transformed into its own studio in 2019, is hosting again the main part of the filming. Several locations in Prague and the Czech Republic will also be used.

The main cast consisting of Rosamund Pike, Daniel Henney, Zoe Robins, Madeleine Madden, Josha Stradowski, Marcus Rutherford and Donal Finn is joined by Maja Simonsen, Ragga Ragnars, Jay Duffy and Rima Te Wiata.

No less than eight seasons have been announced, but producers need to hurry as local authorities plan to transform the Jordan Studios’ area into a residential development over the next 20 years, according to Prague Reporter.

The second season of Hunters and both seasons of Carnival Row, both produced by Amazon Studios, were also shot in Prague.
