Ambassador Chatardová launched the “Price of War” conference in London

On Thursday December 1st in London, Ambassador Marie Chatardová launched a full day conference The Price of War – Understanding Conflict Economics in a Volatile World.

The conference focused on various economic and political consequences of the Russian aggression in Ukraine and the shifting world order, including for example the impact on supply chains or investment. The list of speakers and panelists composed of top notch experts from various fields, as for example the acclaimed journalist and author Tim Marshall, University of Oxford’s Professor Peter Frankopan, Wall Street Journal’s Gerry Baker, Financial Times’ chief economic commentator Martin Wolf or Stanford University’s Professor Stephen Kotkin. The conference was organized on behalf of the CERGE-EI Foundation and CERGE-EI – the Center for Economic Research and Graduate Education – Economics Institute based in Prague.
