On the occasion of Azerbaijan’s National Day, the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Czech Republic hosted a festive diplomatic reception on May 28, 2025, in the scenic surroundings of the Hilton Hotel Prague. The event marked the 106th anniversary of the founding of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, the first secular democratic republic in the Muslim world, established in 1918.

The reception was attended by a distinguished gathering of diplomats, Czech government officials, cultural representatives, business leaders, and members of the Azerbaijani community in the Czech Republic.
