U Lennonovy zdi v Praze jste dnes mohli vidět 29 umělců ze zemí EU a další dva z Norska a Ukrajiny. Každý z nich ztvárnil svůj jedinečný design na zeď v rámci projektu „ZEĎ SVOBODY A ENERGIE / LENNON WALL PRAHA“, který patří mezi oficiální kulturní akce českého předsednictví v EU. Z fotografií nově pomalované Lennonovy zdi bude poté vytvořena zeď nafukovací, se kterou autoři projektu navštíví Štrasburk, Paříž a Brusel. Dánsko zastupuje umělec Jan Wessel, jehož krásnou výstavu olejomaleb a světelných boxů můžete navštívit do konce září v Galerii Knupp v Praze.

29 European artists have gathered, each representing their respective EU country, with guests from Norway and Ukraine at Prague’s Lennon Wall today! The artists will be adding their own unique design to the Lennon Wall as part of the project “WALL OF FREEDOM AND ENERGY / LENNON WALL PRAGUE”, which belongs to official cultural events of the Czech EU Presidency. Thereafter the artwork is printed and turned into an inflatable and later showcased in Strasbourg, Paris, and Brussels. Representing Denmark’s contribution to the Lennon Wall is Danish artist Billedkunstner Jan wessel. These days you can also visit Jan Wessel’s beautiful exhibition of his oil paintings and light boxes at the Knupp Gallery in Prague.
