Today is Day of the Brunsviger, a traditional Danish cake covered in a coating of butter and brown sugar with its origins from Funen. The brunsviger cake is often served at Danish birthday parties where it is shaped as a human and covered with candy and 🇩🇰 flags. They are not very popular outside of Denmark but we made our own at the embassy today!
