Ambassador Tanja Strniša enrolled today in the book of grief at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, opened at the death of a great Czech politician, former deputy prime minister and minister of foreign affairs and senator Karel Schwarzenberg.

Karel Schwarzenberg was without a doubt one of the most important figures of the post-communist era of Czech republic. Czech Republic and Europe lost with him a great democrat, a fighter for human rights and a supporter of the European idea.

The Embassy of RS expresses sincere condolences to the Czech citizens and to the family of Mr. Schwarzenberg.
