The deportation of Ukrainian children is one of many war crimes Russia commits in Ukraine. Different sources estimate hundreds of thousands of deported Ukrainian children. The exact number of affected children cannot be determined due to active hostilities and the temporary occupation of Ukraine’s territory.
With the ICC issuing arrest warrants for Putin and Children’s Ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova for illegal deportations, the world has received a clear message that the Russian ruling elite and their henchmen will be brought to justice.
