🎼 Slávnostný koncert Veľvyslanectva Slovenskej republiky v Obecnom dome

Praha, 4. november 2025

Dňa 4. novembra usporiadalo Veľvyslanectvo Slovenskej republiky v Prahe slávnostný koncert v nádhernej secesnej budove Obecného domu. Večer spojil hudbu, diplomaciu a historickú reflexiu a vyslal silný signál priateľstva medzi Slovenskom a Českom.

Dôvod koncertu

Koncert sa konal pri príležitosti
• 145. výročia narodenia Milana Rastislava Štefánika (1880–1919)
a
• 175. výročia narodenia Tomáša Garrigua Masaryka (1850–1937)

Obe osobnosti sú považované za kľúčové postavy vzniku Československa v roku 1918.

Umelecký program

Hudobné prevedenie zabezpečil renomovaný
Štátny filharmonický orchester Košice (Štátna filharmónia Košice).

Dirigentom večera bol Tomáš Brauner.

Ako sólista zažiaril medzinárodne uznávaný slovenský huslista
Dalibor Karvay,
ktorého virtuózna a zároveň poetická hra hlboko zapôsobila na publikum.

Mimoriadnu pozornosť si získala účasť českého prezidenta Petra Pavla, keďže sa 10. septembra nezúčastnil recepcie pri príležitosti štátneho sviatku Slovenskej republiky na veľvyslanectve.
Vtedy sa zúčastnili iba bývalí prezidenti Václav Klaus a Miloš Zeman.

Neprítomnosť sa široko interpretovala ako diplomatické dištancovanie – pravdepodobne v súvislosti s politickým napätím medzi prezidentom Pavlom a slovenským premiérom Robertom Ficom.

Po koncerte sa v spoločenských priestoroch Obecného domu konala slávnostná recepcia.

Pri kulinárskych špecialitách, víne a hudbe sa hostia v uvoľnenej atmosfére rozprávali o kultúre, histórii a politike a oslavovali až do polnoci.

Večer otvoril veľvyslanec Martin Muranský, ktorý vo svojom príhovore vzdal poctu zakladateľom Štefánikovi a Masarykovi.
Zdôraznil trvalú blízkosť a priateľstvo medzi Českou republikou a Slovenskom – posolstvo, ktoré sa nieslo celým podujatím.

Záver

Koncert v Obecnom dome bol výnimočnou kultúrnou a diplomatickou udalosťou.

🎼 Festive Concert of the Embassy of the Slovak Republic at the Municipal House

On 4 November, the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Prague hosted a festive concert at the magnificent Art Nouveau Municipal House. The evening combined music, diplomacy, and historical reflection, sending a strong signal of friendship between Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

Occasion of the Concert

The concert was held on the occasion of
• the 145th anniversary of the birth of Milan Rastislav Štefánik (1880–1919)

Only former presidents Václav Klaus and Miloš Zeman were present at that time.

He underlined the enduring closeness and friendship between the Czech Republic and Slovakia — a message that resonated throughout the entire event.

Am 4. November richtete die Botschaft der Slowakischen Republik in Prag ein feierliches Konzert im prachtvollen Jugendstilbau Obecní dům aus. Der Abend verband Musik, Diplomatie und historische Rückbesinnung und setzte ein starkes Zeichen der Freundschaft zwischen der Slowakei und Tschechien.
