On the 23^rd August, The Indonesian Embassy has organized the Indonesian National Day at the wonderful premises of the Hotel Hilton in Florence.  After the initial speeches, the selected guests have had the possibility to network and taste Indonesian delicacies

The National Day officially falls on the 17^th August and commemorates the independence of the country, obtained in 1945, According to the law of country, every house must hoist a national flag during this period and the authorities supply with a flag those families who do not possess one

The National Day is widely felt in Indonesia and it is celebrated in all its representations abroad. It represents a formidable occasion for unit and feeling of a national identity.
