Lietuvos prezidentas Gitanas Nausėda pasveikino Čekijos Prezidentą Milošą Zemaną ir visus šalies žmones Čekijos savarankiškos valstybės atkūrimo dienos proga. Kaip sakoma Prezidentūros pranešime spaudai, prezidentas pabrėžė, kad Lietuvą ir Čekiją sieja draugiški žmogiškieji ryšiai bei abipuse pagarba ir supratimu grįstas dvišalis ir daugiašalis bendradarbiavimas. „Vertinu Čekijos, kaip NATO sąjungininkės, tvirtą indėlį į Baltijos regiono, kartu visos Europos, saugumo stiprinimą“, – rašoma G. Nausėdos sveikinime. Prezidentas taip pat pasveikino Čekiją su sėkmingu pirmininkavimu Europos Sąjungos Tarybai šiuo sudėtingu visai Europai laikotarpiu. „Rusijos karo Ukrainoje akivaizdoje turime būti kaip niekad susitelkę ir vieningi smerkiant Rusijos veiksmus ir keliant atsakomybės už sukeltą karą ir skausmą Ukrainos tautai klausimus“, – teigė Prezidentas.

President Gitanas Nausėda congratulated the President of the Czech Republic, Miloš Zeman, and all the people of the country on the Restoration Day of the Independent Czech State.The President stressed that Lithuania and the Czech Republic shared friendly people-to-people contacts as well as bilateral and multilateral cooperation based on mutual respect and understanding.“I value the significant contribution of the Czech Republic—the NATO ally—to strengthening the security of the Baltic region and, ultimately, of Europe as a whole,” the President’s message of congratulations reads.Gitanas Nausėda also congratulated the Czech Republic for its successful presidency over the European Council during this difficult period for Europe.“In the face of Russia’s war in Ukraine, we need to be more focused and united than ever in condemning Russia’s actions and in bringing up the issues of accountability for the war and the pain it has caused to the people of Ukraine,” the President underlined.
