Minulý pátek velvyslanectví symbolicky zahájilo demolici vepřína v Letech u Písku, kde byl dříve romský koncentrační tábor . Demolice vepřína a vybudování památníku romským a sintským obětem holocaustu má hluboký smysl a velký evropský význam. Nikdo si nebyl jistý, zda tento den nadejde a Romové v celé Evropě na něj čekali 75 let. Jsme rádi, že Fondy EHP a Norska měly příležitost spolufinancovat tento projekt, protože naším cílem je nulová tolerance rasismu a netoleranci

The embassy has been in Lety to take part in a demolition project of a pig farm where it before was a Holocaust concentration camp for Roma people  Demolishing the farm and building a Holocaust memorial for Roma and Sinti people has a deep meaning and great European significance. No one was sure that the day would come and Roma people across Europe have been waiting for this for 75 years. We are happy that Fondy EHP a Norska had the opportunity to co-finance the project, as it is our objective to never be indifferent to racism and intolerance
