On 19 December 2025, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Czech Republic, the Embassy of Kazakhstan to the Czech Republic, and SCAT Airlines jointly hosted an event at the Hotel Kings Court Prague to mark the opening of the new air connection between Prague and Sanya.

The event brought together representatives of the diplomatic corps, government institutions, the aviation and tourism sectors, as well as business and media guests. The new route is expected to significantly strengthen tourism and people-to-people exchanges between the Czech Republic and China, while also underlining Kazakhstan’s growing role as an important aviation hub connecting Europe and Asia.

Sanya, located on China’s tropical island of Hainan, was presented as an attractive destination offering beach tourism, culture, wellness, and modern infrastructure. The new connection operated by SCAT Airlines will make the destination more accessible to travelers from Central Europe.

The launch of the Prague–Sanya connection was described as a concrete example of successful international cooperation in civil aviation and tourism.

Dne 19. prosince 2025 uspořádaly Velvyslanectví Čínské lidové republiky v České republice, Velvyslanectví Kazachstánu v České republice a letecká společnost SCAT Airlines společnou akci v hotelu Kings Court Prague u příležitosti zahájení nové letecké linky mezi Prahou a čínským městem Sanya.

Akce se zúčastnili zástupci diplomatického sboru, státních institucí, leteckého a turistického sektoru, stejně jako hosté z oblasti obchodu a médií. Nové spojení má posílit cestovní ruch a mezilidské kontakty mezi Českou republikou a Čínou a zároveň zdůraznit roli Kazachstánu jako významného leteckého uzlu mezi Evropou a Asií.

Město Sanya, ležící na tropickém ostrově Chaj-nan, bylo představeno jako atraktivní destinace nabízející plážovou turistiku, kulturu, wellness a moderní infrastrukturu.

Dezember 2025 veranstalteten die Botschaft der Volksrepublik China in der Tschechischen Republik, die Botschaft der Republik Kasachstan in der Tschechischen Republik sowie die Fluggesellschaft SCAT Airlines ein gemeinsames Event im Hotel Kings Court Prag anlässlich der Eröffnung der neuen Flugverbindung zwischen Prag und Sanya.

An der Veranstaltung nahmen Vertreter des diplomatischen Korps, staatlicher Institutionen, der Luftfahrt- und Tourismusbranche sowie Gäste aus Wirtschaft und Medien teil. Die neue Verbindung soll den Tourismus und den direkten Austausch zwischen der Tschechischen Republik und China stärken und zugleich die Rolle Kasachstans als wichtiges Drehkreuz zwischen Europa und Asien hervorheben.

Sanya, gelegen auf der tropischen Insel Hainan, wurde als attraktive Destination mit Strandtourismus, kulturellen Angeboten, Wellness und moderner Infrastruktur präsentiert.
