We would like to invite you to Czech That Film festival, currently the largest Czech cultural event in the United States and Canada, presenting its 10th edition in 2021.


The festival is presenting a selection of the best recent Czech cinema and will take place in a virtual world from April 23 to May 2 in cooperation with the Artinii Film Festival Platform.


This 10th anniversary edition has a broad assortment of films released in 2019-2020. These include a vibrant bio dramedy about Václav Havel, the prominent Czech playwright, human rights activist who became the first president of Czechoslovakia after the fall of Communism " Havel" , the Emmy winning TV show “Marty is Dead”, Academy Award nominated and Sundance winner animated short “Daughter” and Oscar shortlisted “Charlatan” directed by legendary Prague-educated Polish director Agnieszka Holland.


Film enthusiasts will have the opportunity to enjoy altogether five feature films, two TV series, four documentaries, one music video and four animated shorts. All films are with English subtitles.

The festival is organized by the Czech Centers and the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
