On 1 February 2023, H.E. Ms. Phasporn Sangasubana, Ambassador of Thailand to the Czech Republic, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Dr. Veronika Kuchyňová Šmigolová, Acting Director General for non-European Countries and Economic Diplomacy, to congratulate her on her appointment and discuss ways to enhance the bilateral relationship between Thailand and the Czech Republic. H.E. Ambassador also took this opportunity to convey message of condolences from the Royal Thai Embassy on the passing of H.E. Mr. Jaroslav Šedivý, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
