On 15 April 2023, Her Excellency Ms. Phasporn Sangasubana, Ambassador of Thailand to the Czech Republic, attended the annual AFS Ball in Prague and met with 8 Thai exchange students participating in AFS exchange programmes to the Czech Republic. Her Excellency the Ambassador also took the opportunity to have a conversation with the students about their experiences as exchange students abroad. With Ms. Klára Kutiová, National Director of AFS in the Czech Republic, on this occasion, Her Excellency the Ambassador discussed to explore ways to inspire more Czech exchange students to participate in cultural exchange programme to Thailand. (Each year, only one or two Czech high school students participate in an AFS exchange to Thailand; while between seven and ten Thai high school students take part in an exchange to the Czech Republic.)
