On 20 July 2023, H.E. Ms. Phasporn Sangasubana, Ambassador of Thailand to the Czech Republic met with Škoda auto a.s. representatives to explore possible cooperation in the field of automotive industry, given the importance of Thai automotive industry to the Thai economy. In 2022, Thailand ranks among the world’s top ten bases for automotive production and automotive parts manufacturing and is the largest producer in ASEAN.
Škoda Auto a.s. is a Czech automobile manufacturer was founded 127 years ago and has its headquarters in Mladá Boleslav, Czech Republic. Later, it was gradually privatized to the German Volkswagen Group. Škoda Auto a.s. is now one of World’s significant automobile manufacturers and exporters. Škoda automobiles are distributed to more than 100 countries worldwide.
เมื่อวันที่ 20 กรกฎาคม 2566 นางสาวภาสพร สังฆสุบรรณ์ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงปราก ได้พบหารือกับผู้แทนของ Škoda Auto a.s. เพื่อแสวงหาความเป็นไปได้ในความร่วมมือในสาขาอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ เนื่องจากอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ไทยมีความสำคัญอย่างยิ่งต่อระบบเศรษฐกิจของไทย ในปี 2565 ประเทศไทยติดอันดับ 1 ใน 10 ฐานการผลิตยานยนต์และชิ้นส่วนยานยนต์หลักของโลก และเป็นผู้ผลิตอันดับที่ 1 ของอาเซียนอนึ่ง ผู้ผลิตรถยนต์ Škoda ของสาธารณรัฐเช็กได้เริ่มก่อตั้งมาเป็นเวลา 127 ปีแล้วและมีสำนักงานใหญ่อยู่ที่ Mladá Boleslav สาธารณรัฐเช็ก ต่อมาได้กลายเป็นบริษัทในเครือของ Volkswagen Group ของเยอรมัน ปัจจุบัน บริษัท Škoda auto ถือเป็นผู้ผลิตและส่งออกรถยนต์ที่สำคัญของโลก โดยได้ส่งออกรถยนต์ไปยังประเทศต่าง ๆ มากกว่า 100 ประเทศทั่วโลก
