On the afternoon of June 11th, the Russian Embassy in Prague hosted a formal reception to mark the Russian Federation’s National Day, a date of great significance that commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of State Sovereignty of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic in 1990. This declaration laid the groundwork for modern Russia’s independent political and constitutional identity, and the day has since become a proud celebration of Russian culture, heritage, and international presence.
