On May 29, 2025, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Prague, represented by H.E. Mr. Abdullah M. Alrasheed, hosted a distinguished reception at the Hotel Diplomat in honor of Saudi photographer and former diplomat Assem Alsabban, who was recently awarded the prestigious European Golden Camera Award.

The event, presided over by H.E. Abdullah M. Alrasheed, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to the Czech Republic, brought together a diverse audience of diplomats, Czech cultural and media representatives, and members of the Arab and international communities in Prague. The evening celebrated not only Assem Alsabban’s photographic achievements but also the growing global recognition of Saudi Arabia’s emerging creative sector.

In his congratulatory speech, Ambassador Abdullah M.
