Seven dead so far

“Five dead in Dosimeter” could be the refrain from a song in the style of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young by Rakušan, Pokorný, Polčák & Dobrovský. It could have its world premiere at the Castle and appear in a collection called “So Far,” because there’s no guarantee that the deaths related to the Dosimeter criminal case end with Věslav Michalik, Jan Gottvald, Petr Adam, Martin Horák and Ondřej Křivka. Being close to people from STAN is simply risky. The police are slow to act and still haven’t answered the question of whether there’s a link between Dosimeter and the sprawling PDZ affair. That one claimed its second death last week (the first was lawyer Petr Kruliš), but Czech TV and Czech Radio were so busy promoting the ruling coalition in the EU elections that they forgot to mention the reported suicide of PDZ Chair Robert Zelenka in their evening news. A seventh strange death in the general vicinity of Interior Min. Vít Rakušan and PM Petr Fiala is probably worth the public media’s attention.
