Several closures will limit Prague metro operations in the second half of the week

From Thursday to Sunday, metro operation on line C between Pražského povstání and Florenc stations will be interrupted due to line repairs. An alternative XC bus service will be introduced in the affected section. Passengers on the A-line will also have to consider a partial service interruption.

The replacement XC buses will serve the metro stations mostly from nearby night bus stops.

A parallel closure will also occur on the A-line between Strašnická and Depo Hostivař stations from Thursday to Sunday. In this case, there will be no alternative transport; passengers can use tram lines 7 and 37 or buses 125 and 175.

On Wednesday, no trains will run on the A line between the Skalka and Depo Hostivař stations. Lines 7 and 37 from Strašnická station will be available for passengers again. DPP is gradually replacing signaling equipment on the A-line.

On Thursday, November 17, Prague public transport services will run according to Saturday timetables. The operation will also be modified on Friday, with a slight extension of metro, bus, and tram intervals.

The transport company regularly approaches metro closures during holidays or extended weekends. Due to the fewer passengers, it uses them for sleeper replacements and other partial repairs.
