Státní návštěva prezidenta Albánie v České republice

Ve středu 19. listopadu 2025 vykonal prezident Republiky Albánie, Jeho Excelence Bajram Begaj, oficiální státní návštěvu České republiky. Na Pražském hradě jej s vojenskými poctami přivítal prezident České republiky Petr Pavel. Ceremoniál zahrnoval čestnou jednotku, státní hymny a slavnostní přivítání na prvním nádvoří Pražského hradu.

Po oficiálním ceremoniálu následovala bilaterální jednání obou prezidentů, která se zaměřila na současný stav vztahů mezi Českem a Albánií, prohlubování bezpečnostní spolupráce a evropskou integraci Albánie. Prezident Begaj opakovaně zdůraznil, že členství Albánie v Evropské unii je jednou z klíčových priorit jeho vlády. Česká republika dlouhodobě podporuje přibližování Albánie k EU a oceňuje reformní kroky v oblasti justice, právního státu a boje proti organizovanému zločinu.

Albánie je od roku 2009 členem NATO a svou aktivní rolí ve strategicky významném regionu západního Balkánu představuje důležitého partnera v otázkách stability a bezpečnosti. Česká republika vidí v Albánii důležitého spojence, zejména v otázkách evropské integrace, energetické bezpečnosti a regionální spolupráce.

Státní návštěvy se zúčastnil také velvyslanec Republiky Albánie v České republice, Jeho Excelence Ilir Tepelena, který doprovázel delegaci a podílel se na oficiálním programu.

Večer se konala slavnostní gala večeře pořádaná prezidentem Petrem Pavlem na počest prezidenta Begaje. Zúčastnili se jí představitelé politiky, diplomacie, kultury i podnikatelského prostředí. Návštěva tak potvrdila velmi dobré vztahy mezi Českem a Albánií a podtrhla ochotu obou zemí dále rozvíjet partnerství v evropském i bezpečnostním rámci.

State Visit of the President of Albania to the Czech Republic

On Wednesday, 19 November 2025, the President of the Republic of Albania, His Excellency Bajram Begaj, paid an official state visit to the Czech Republic. He was welcomed with full military honors at Prague Castle by the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel. The ceremony included an honor guard, national anthems, and a formal reception in the first courtyard of the Castle.

After the ceremonial welcome, bilateral talks were held between the two presidents. Their discussions focused on the current state of Czech–Albanian relations, strengthening security cooperation, and Albania’s progress on its path toward European integration. President Begaj reiterated that Albania’s accession to the European Union remains one of the government’s top priorities. The Czech Republic has consistently supported Albania’s EU ambitions and acknowledges the reforms undertaken in the areas of justice, the rule of law, and the fight against organized crime.

Albania has been a NATO member since 2009 and plays an important role in ensuring stability in the strategically significant Western Balkans. The Czech Republic considers Albania a key partner, particularly in matters of European integration, energy security, and regional cooperation.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to the Czech Republic, His Excellency Ilir Tepelena, also took part in the visit and accompanied the presidential delegation.

In the evening, President Petr Pavel hosted a formal gala dinner in honor of President Begaj, attended by leading figures from politics, diplomacy, culture, and business. The visit reaffirmed the strong relations between the Czech Republic and Albania and highlighted their shared commitment to further strengthening cooperation within both the European and security frameworks.

Staatsbesuch des Präsidenten von Albanien in der Tschechischen Republik

Am Mittwoch, den 19. November 2025, stattete der Präsident der Republik Albanien, Seine Exzellenz Bajram Begaj, der Tschechischen Republik einen offiziellen Staatsbesuch ab. Auf der Prager Burg wurde er von Präsident Petr Pavel mit militärischen Ehren empfangen. Das feierliche Zeremoniell umfasste die Ehrenformation, die Nationalhymnen sowie den offiziellen Empfang im ersten Burghof.

Im Anschluss an den militärischen Empfang führten die beiden Präsidenten bilaterale Gespräche. Themen waren der aktuelle Stand der Beziehungen zwischen Tschechien und Albanien, die vertiefte Sicherheitszusammenarbeit sowie Albaniens Fortschritte auf dem Weg zur Mitgliedschaft in der Europäischen Union. Präsident Begaj betonte erneut, dass der EU-Beitritt eines der wichtigsten Ziele Albaniens ist. Tschechien unterstützt diesen Prozess und würdigt die Reformbemühungen Albaniens in den Bereichen Rechtsstaatlichkeit, Justiz und Bekämpfung der organisierten Kriminalität.

Albanien ist seit 2009 Mitglied der NATO und spielt als Stabilitätsfaktor eine bedeutende Rolle auf dem sicherheitspolitisch sensiblen westlichen Balkan. Tschechien betrachtet Albanien als wichtigen Partner – insbesondere in Fragen der europäischen Integration, der Energiesicherheit und der regionalen Zusammenarbeit.

Am Besuch nahm auch der Botschafter der Republik Albanien in der Tschechischen Republik, Seine Exzellenz Ilir Tepelena, teil, der die Delegation begleitete und aktiv am offiziellen Programm teilnahm.

Am Abend lud Präsident Petr Pavel zu einem festlichen Gala-Dinner zu Ehren von Präsident Begaj ein. Unter den Gästen befanden sich Vertreter aus Politik, Diplomatie, Kultur und Wirtschaft. Der Staatsbesuch unterstrich die ausgezeichneten Beziehungen zwischen Tschechien und Albanien und zeigte die Bereitschaft beider Länder, ihre Partnerschaft im europäischen und sicherheitspolitischen Rahmen weiter auszubauen.
