The ASEAN Committee, chaired by Hos Excellency Eduardo Menez, has organized the 56^th Anniversary of the ASEAN Community. The prestigious event has been held at the Museum of Decorative Arts in the center of Prague.

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) has been established in 1967 in order to promote economic, social and cultural development among its members. Currently, it counts 10 members: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam.

The event has been attended by a number of selected guests, diplomats of various countries as well as business actors and friends of the ASEAN Community.

There has been a fashion show representing the traditional costumes of each country, Some Ambassadors have actually participated to the fashion show directly.

The whole has represented a wonderful occasion to celebrate the ASEAN friendship and diffuse information about its meaning in Prague.
