February 22, 2024 The Russian Embassy in the Czech Republic held a number of events on the occasion of the Defender of the Fatherland Day.
Heads and staff of diplomatic missions of Russia and Belarus jointly laid wreaths and flowers to the Red Army monument at the central burial of the Red Army in Prague’s Olsha Cemetery and to the memorial there of Russian soldiers who fell during the Napoleonic Wars.
On the same day, Russian and Belarusian diplomats jointly honored the memory of their compatriots, resting at the cemetery of Russian prisoners of war during the First World War in the city of Russia.
