Patjuk (팥죽, red bean porridge), which is usually associated with ‘Dongji (동지, winter solstice)’, is a typical Korean winter food that warms your body and soul in this cold weather.

A bowl of sweet, creamy Patjuk mixed with chewy rice cake balls is a popular menu item in winter. Patjuk is usually enjoyed as a snack.
