After having participated in the “liberation Festival” of Plzen, the Belgian veterans of the 17th rifle battalion Valère Gustin and Louis Gihoul were received with their families at the Belgian Residence in Prague, by the Ambassador and his wife. Also present were Colonel Pierre-Jean Pira, Military Attaché, Pavla Kocourkova, organizer of the Belgian participation in the Liberation festival, and Luc Rensonnet, in charge of the remembrance of the 17th Belgian rifle battalion. A particularly convivial moment, in honor of our veterans !
