About 3.9 million refugees from Ukraine are officially registered in Europe.

According to Eurostat, as of the end of March Germany has officially accepted 1,067,755 people, 27% of the total, Poland 976,575 (25%), and the Czech Republic 325,245 people (8%); these three countries have granted the most temporary protection statuses.

To compare the data with the end of February, the number of refugees from Ukraine with temporary protection decreased by 3%. The most significant reduction was recorded in the Czech Republic (-122,585; -27%), Sweden (-23,635; -49%), and Poland (-17,180; -2%). At the same time, the number of temporary protection statuses increased in Germany (+33,125; +3%), Italy (+7,430; +5%), and Romania (+6,640; +6%).

According to UN data, as of March 28, the number of Ukrainian refugees officially registered in the EU reached 5.008 million.
