PRAGUE: Radek Beran and David Lisy’s animated film The Proud Princess has been acquired by All Rights Entertainment. The film produced by Luminar Film will be completed in 2024.
The Proud Princess is an animated remake of the most successful Czech comedy of all times, The Proud Princess (1952) by Borivoj Zeman, which adapted the fairytale Punished Pride written by Bozena Nemcova.
Prague-based PFX is handling the animation. The Czech Film Fund is supporting the project and CinemArt will release the film domestically.
