May 15, 2022/77 years since the liberation of the Terezin concentration camp – the Romanian ambassador in Prague, Antoaneta Barta, laid a wreath of flowers during the ceremony commemorating the victims of Nazism in the Terezins concentration camp. Senior Czech officials, war veterans, survivors, members of the diplomatic corps attended the impressive ceremony.
Between 1940-1945 approximately 150,000 people, mostly Jews, were prisoners of the camp, of whom 117,000 did not survive the war.
We shall not forget them.
