Around the World with 14 Chambers: International Networking in the Heart of Prague

On Wednesday, May 13, 2026, the international networking event “Around the World with 14 Chambers” took place in the elegant atmosphere of BRICK’S Restaurant – Hergetova Cihelna in Prague. Over the years, the event has become one of the most important international business and social gatherings in the Czech capital, bringing together representatives of numerous chambers of commerce, diplomats, entrepreneurs, and executives from international and Czech companies.

The evening was co-organized by fourteen international chambers of commerce and business organizations operating in the Czech Republic, including the British Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic, the German-Czech Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK), the Nordic Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic, the Czech-Irish Business and Cultural Association (CIBCA), and especially the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic – GoCanada.cz, which has become one of the most active and visible international business platforms in Prague.

The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic played a particularly significant role during this year’s event. Over recent years, GoCanada.cz has established itself as one of the most dynamic international business organizations in Prague, regularly organizing high-level business breakfasts, networking evenings, discussions with government representatives, and diplomatic events. The chamber’s mission is to strengthen economic relations between Canada and the Czech Republic while providing its members with access to political decision-makers, entrepreneurs, and international markets.

The event “Around the World with 14 Chambers” has existed for several years and originated from the idea of bringing together international chambers of commerce in Prague, which often traditionally operated separately from one another. From the very beginning, the goal was to intensify cooperation and communication between entrepreneurs, investors, diplomats, and managers from different countries while creating opportunities for new business contacts beyond the usual national and professional circles.

This year’s motto once again was “Travel Around the World in One Night.” Guests were symbolically able to travel around the globe as each chamber presented its respective country through culinary specialties, cultural elements, and information about economic opportunities. The result was a unique combination of international business forum, social reception, and cultural experience.

Particular emphasis was placed on networking opportunities. Executives of international companies, members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of international institutions, and entrepreneurs from various sectors used the evening to establish new contacts and exchange ideas in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. According to the organizers, the event intentionally seeks to encourage communication “beyond the usual business circles.”

In addition to international food and beverages, guests also enjoyed a cultural accompanying program and a charity raffle supporting the organization Zlatá rybka, which fulfills wishes for seriously ill children. The event was fully booked in advance, once again demonstrating the importance and popularity of this international networking format within Prague’s diplomatic and business community.
