Canadian Chamber of Commerce Annual General Meeting at Florentinum

On Tuesday, May 19, 2026, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic (GoCanada) invited its members to the Annual General Meeting (AGM), which took place in the premises of EY Czech Republic at the Florentinum complex in Prague. The event began at 6:00 p.m. in Reception D of the modern Florentinum business center located at Na Florenci 2116/15 in Prague 1.

The main focus of the meeting was the election of new and confirmed members of the Chamber’s governing bodies for the upcoming two-year term. Elected to the Board of Directors were Jiří Krejča as President, Thomas Hrubý as Vice-President, together with Libor Chytrý, Randy Pankevicz, and Miroslav Richter as additional board members.

The Advisory Board elections resulted in the appointment of Martina Bláhová, Petr Břenek, Anne Hlinka, Jerry Jelinek, Miloš Láznička, Tomáš Říha, Bohuslav Větrovský, and Hynek Žikovský.

The Annual General Meeting is considered one of the most important internal events of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic. In addition to formal voting procedures and organizational matters, the event serves as an important networking opportunity for members of business, diplomacy, and public life.

This year’s meeting was hosted at the Prague offices of EY Czech Republic in the Florentinum complex, one of the most modern office and conference centers in the Czech capital. The evening’s atmosphere reflected the chamber’s long-standing role as an important bridge between the Canadian and Czech business communities.
