Celebrating Iran’s National Day!

On 13th of February H.E. Mr. Seyed Majid Ghafeleh Bashi, ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Czech Republic invited the representatives of the diplomatic corps and friends of Iran to celebrate the day of the victory of the Islamic revolution in 1979.

His excellency mentioned in his speech that he still remembers this day very well since he was present as a young man. The event took place on the premises of OREA Hotel Pyramida in Prague. Beside the official speech the guests were entertained by traditional Iranian music and food.

Celebrating the Day of Victory: Islamic Revolution

Iran commemorates on 11th of February the monumental “Day of the Victory of the Islamic Revolution,” an event that reshaped the course of history in Iran. It marks the triumph of the Iranian people over oppression and the establishment of an Islamic Republic.

A Historic Milestone

This significant day, delves the spirit and essence of the Islamic Revolution. It was on February 11, 1979, that the Iranian nation successfully overthrew the oppressive Pahlavi monarchy led by Mohammad Reza Shah. The revolution brought about a new era of independence, freedom, and self-determination.

The Islamic Revolution stirred the hearts and souls of millions, uniting people from all walks of life under the powerful ideology of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini. This revolution was a collective voice against tyranny, injustice, and foreign influence, laying the foundation for an Islamic democracy in Iran.
