Cooler Temperatures and Rain Expected for the Week, Summer Weather to Return by the Weekend

Meteorologist Dagmar Honsová predicts a week of cooler temperatures and rainy conditions ahead, disappointing those hoping for hot and sunny weather. While the week will start with some sunshine, rain will gradually make its way back, and occasional thunderstorms may also occur.

According to Honsová, summer temperatures will take a break during the new work week, with even the lowest morning temperatures dropping to around 6°C midweek. Initially, the influence of a high-pressure ridge from the northeast will bring sunny conditions at the beginning of the week. However, a high-altitude low will replace it, necessitating the use of umbrellas once again. The thunderstorms that occur will likely not be as intense as in previous days. Honsová expects that summer temperatures will not return until the weekend.

On Monday, the skies will be partly cloudy to sunny, with morning temperatures ranging from 12 to 8°C. Daytime temperatures will reach 20-24°C.

Tuesday will see the arrival of the first raindrops. The day will start with partly cloudy skies that will become increasingly cloudy. Isolated showers or rain may occur in some areas. Morning temperatures will drop to 10-6°C, with daytime temperatures ranging from 18-23°C.

Wednesday will be mostly cloudy, accompanied by isolated showers and thunderstorms. Morning temperatures will be around 10-6°C, and daytime temperatures will range from 17-22°C.

Thursday will bring a partly cloudy to mostly cloudy sky, with isolated showers and thunderstorms expected. Morning temperatures will be approximately 10-6°C, and daytime temperatures will range from 19-23°C.

Although Friday will see a slight increase in temperatures, rain will still persist. The sky will be partly cloudy to mostly cloudy, with isolated showers and thunderstorms. Morning temperatures will range from 12-8°C, and daytime temperatures will be 20-24°C.

However, the weekend will bring a return of summer-like conditions, with temperatures exceeding 25°C. Saturday will be partly cloudy to mostly cloudy, and isolated showers or thunderstorms may occur. Morning temperatures will be between 15-11°C, and daytime temperatures will range from 21-25°C.

Sunday is expected to have partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies, along with isolated showers or thunderstorms. Morning temperatures will be 14-10°C, and daytime temperatures will range from 22-26°C.

While the week ahead may not offer the desired hot and sunny weather, the anticipation of summer temperatures making a comeback over the weekend should bring some relief to those seeking warmer conditions.
