Czech glassware made a smash in last year’s Glass Onion for Netflix, and now Czech glass products will be featured in one of the summer’s most highly-anticipated films. Jugs and glasses from the Czech company Klimchi can be seen in a featurette for Barbie released by Architectural Digest.

The featurette gives fans an in-depth look at the Barbie house created for the movie, with Barbie star Margot Robbie leading the tour. The Barbie sets feature hot pink colors through just about all of the props, including jugs and glasses that came from a Czech producer.

“Maintaining the ‘kid-ness’ was paramount,” Barbie director Greta Gerwig told Architectural Digest.

“I wanted the pinks to be very bright, and everything to be almost too much,” the filmmaker says, adding that she didn’t want to “forget what made me love Barbie when I was a little girl.”

That unusual set design made some bright pink glassware from Czech producer Klimchi, based in Kamenické Šenov in North Bohemia, a perfect fit for the Barbie world. In particular, the spiked glass Rosaline Hobnail jug seen in the featurette is one of the company’s most famous products.

“I’m excited that our pink jugs will make their big movie debut in the Barbie movie,” Klimchi founder Lukáš Klimčák tells Czech Crunch in a recent interview.

“It is a huge honor for me to see our products associated with such a project and alongside famous actors. We are trying to make Czech glass a good name abroad, and this is another piece of the puzzle. The Hobnail jug is the first and most successful product from Klimchi. It has been produced in our family’s glass factory for several decades.”

Unlike the glassware specifically made for Glass Onion by Pačinek Glass, the Czech glass products seen in Barbie are commercially produced and available for sale from the Klimchi e-shop. The Rosaline Hobnail jug retails for 2,990 crowns (about $140).

“Pink shades are pleasant to look at and will calm any environment,” reads the jug’s description on the Klimchi site, making it a perfect for your own Barbie world. “This distinctive glass jug is versatile and allows you to relax with your family around the dinner table.”

Barbie will premiere in Czech cinemas from next Thursday, July 20. It will go up against Christopher Nolan‘s Oppenheimer in one of the most explosive weekends at the cinema this summer.
