Deputy Prime Minister Ivan Bartoš visited the United Kingdom

Deputy Prime Minister for Digitalization and Minister for Regional Development Ivan Bartoš made a working visit to the United Kingdom from 18 to 22 September.

The main objective of the visit was to deepen Czech-British relations in the field of digitalization and the digital economy as well as local development, especially with regard to the UK’s Levelling-Up Strategy.

As part of his programme, Deputy Prime Minister Bartoš visited London, Oxford, Wolverhampton, Birmingham and Manchester, where he met with representatives of the Government and public administration, science, academia and business. The Deputy Prime Minister was also accompanied by a sizable business delegation headed by the Czech Chamber of Commerce for whom, on Tuesday 19 September, the Embassy hosted a business forum with their British counterparts in the digital
