So, on October 4, the exhibition “VILLA TUGENDHAT: The Invention of Modern Fluid Space” was opened. *Built in Brno, Czech Republic, between 1929 and 1930, Villa Tugendhat is considered by historiography one of the icons of modern architecture of the 20th century.

The exhibition had an important contribution from students from @TAG, who made a reinterpretation of the mansion, building the house plant on the floor of the Caramel Hall.

The opening of the exhibition also included the exhibition of the documentary “Villa Tugendhat – heart of onyx” and the lecture “Villa Tukendhat – the form follows the function” by the professor of the Technical University of Prague / Marco Maio Architects , architect Marco Maio / České vysoké učení technické v Praze .

The Portuguese architect held the workshop “Shaping the LIGHT – the architectural space defined by light” at FAU USP – Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo on October 5th and 6th.
