As part of the activities surrounding the ski competition Jizerská 50 , in the Liberec region, the tribute to the 15 Czech mountaineers who died in snowy Huascarán by an avalanche of snow, generated by the earthquake on May 31, 1970 was held.
The ceremony was attended by local authorities and the widows of the deceased mountaineers. The Consul spoke a word to the debtors and placed a floral offering at the memorial.
