Have you heard of wildlife gardening?

In Denmark, this style of gardening boasts 25,000 gardeners.
According to the Danish Society for Nature Protection, 25,000 households have signed up for the voluntary program ‘Slip Haven Fri’, where they commit to keeping the garden free of toxins and releasing at least 20 percent of the garden in favor of biodiversity. So they’re just gonna let their garden run wild

Denmark is trying to deal with the growing problems that threaten local and global biodiversity. Thanks to the EU Biodiversity Strategy, new initiatives are emerging to support plants, animals and ecosystems of the future – and gardening in this way is a great way to give more space for nature, butterflies, wild bees and other animals in your garden.
