On Friday, May 24th, Kaisa Pylkkänen, Finland’s “Comedian Of The Year”, and an overall powerhouse of Finnish comedy scene, will perform her award-winning stand up special: No Penis, No Knowledge in the Metro Comedy Club Prague. 

If Jesus and Sigmund Freud had a kid, that would be Kaisa. Praying for a penis… I mean mother. 

On stage Kaisa Pylkkänen is a walking oxymoron: a middle-aged teenager, an anarchist control freak, and a feminist who suffers from penis envy.

Her solo shows have played for sold out audiences in Finland, Germany, UK, Belgium, Estonia and Iceland. Her other international work includes performing at the Hot Water Comedy Festival in Liverpool, the Laugh Riot Grrrl feminist comedy festival in Los Angeles, as well as doing gigs in 15 countries and dozens of cities around Europe and the US. 

In the 1990’s Kaisa studied Czech in Albertov and lived on Becherovka and smažak drifting between Kavárna Velryba and Bunkr. Now, 30 years later she’s back.
