The NATO Summit is taking place in Washington these days. In addition to discussions on promoting the security of the common NATO space and supporting Ukraine against Russian aggression, the Summit is also celebrating the 75th anniversary of NATO’s founding.

The Finnish delegation to the Summit is led by President Alexander Stubb, who will also meet his other NATO counterparts during his trip.

NATO’s recent unified actions to support Ukraine are both timely and appreciated. Finland endorses robust military aid for Ukraine and will remain steadfast in its support now and in the future. The decisions taken at this summit will pave the way for Ukraine’s NATO membership, marking an irreversible step forward for European security.
