Lithuanian Minister of Economy and Innovation Aušrinė Armonaitė signed an agreement with the German military industry giant Rheinmetall on its expansion in Lithuania. This extensive project will strengthen national defense capabilities with investments of more than 180 million euros and will create at least 150 new jobs.
💬 “The Rheinmetall factory in Lithuania is essential for meeting our defense needs and will ensure continuous access to necessary weapons and ammunition,” the minister said.
🤝 Rheinmetall CEO Armin Papperger thanked for the partnership and emphasized their commitment to national and international security.
This initiative underlines Lithuania’s determination to strive for a safer and more successful future!
