Just as we were preparing a seminar on the prevention of hate crimes and dealing with their consequences with Prague Pride and the Swedish police, we received the terrible news about the murder of two young people in Bratislava, which according to all indications the perpetrator sp áchal just with the motive of hatred towards sexual minorities.
Our deepest sympathy and sympathy to the families of the victims.
Words are weapons, and similar actions often occur with the feeling that society approves of such hatred. Let us not keep our mouth shut. Defend freedom and the values upon which democracy stands.
