There are five times more articles about men than women on the Czech Wikipedia. There is a great disproportion between the contributors themselves – Wikipediaists and Wikipediaists (10:1), and even between readers and female readers, though not so great anymore. This phenomenon concerns all language versions of Wikipedia and actually the whole Internet and literature. Many important, interesting and significant women remain unappreciated, hidden.
