We are celebrating Sock Day – aka World Down Syndrome Day! The challenge aims to spread awareness about the syndrome, break down prejudices and help people born that way become equal members of society.

For the ninth time this year 21st anniversary under the auspices of the United Nations March as World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD). The date symbolically refers to the nature of this genetically conditioned anomaly, trisomy 21. chromosome. That’s why we celebrate the 21st. the 3rd months. World Down Syndrome Day is an opportunity for millions of people with Down syndrome, their families, loved ones and friends around the world to highlight the positive and problematic aspects of living with an extra chromosome.

Join in with us! Or better yet: help someone with Down syndrome integrate even better into society’s everyday running.
