He was born shortly after the beginning of the Iranian Revolution into a family of a high-ranking Islamic scholar. In his youth he met the highest representatives of radical Islamism in the country. However, he gradually got to the opposite side of the barricade – among the loudest critics of the regime.

Rúholláh Zam began to search for the truth and became a journalist whose sources of information include influential figures of Iranian business and politics. That is why his revelations are extremely dangerous for the Iranian government. With all media in Iran under government control, the only way to work independently is to work from exile. For Rúholláh, however, life far from home does not mean safety. In constant escort of bodyguards and under threat of kidnapping and death, he tirelessly exposes the vulnerable places of the Iranian government, which holds corruption and tramples on human rights. However, the lives of his coworkers are also at stake. Who can you really trust in this high game?
