Today, we celebrate the 11th anniversary of the The Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence, known as #IstanbulConvention. It is a landmark treaty that leads the way to a life free from violence for women and girls!
On the occasion of the anniversary, Dutch Ambassador in Prague hosted working breakfast in company of Ambassadors of Austria, Ireland, Norway and Swedish chargé d’ affaires to discuss the Czech position on the ratification of #IstanbulConvention with Czech vice-ministers of Justice, representative of the Government`s Office and Czech Woman`s lobby.
We are posting this black&white photo today to show our support for the Convention and to urge all @CoE States to ratify the Convention.
