We are getting ready to commemorate the 46th anniversary of meeting between former foreign minister of the Netherlands Max van der Stoel and Jan Patočka, philosopher and dissident, on 1 March 1977. Van der Stoel was the first Western politician to meet a representative of the Czechoslovak Charter 77 movement.

Dutch crocus bulbs provided by JUBholland are now being planted by the Max van der Stoel memorial in Prague. We are already looking forward to spring!
