Last week, the World Rowing Championships took place in Račice, in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic . The event was particularly successful for Team NL , with a grand total of 11 medals (2 gold, 8 silver, 1 bronze). Particularly impressive: Karolien Florijn claimed the first ever Dutch gold medal in the ‘skiff’-category. On the picture: Roos de Jong en Laila Youssifou celebrating their silver medal in the ‘double sculls’. Congratulations to Team NL and all other medalists, and thanks to the Czech Republic for hosting a wonderful tournament!
