Embassy of Ukraine in Prague / Velvyslanectví Ukrajiny v Praze

On January 5, 2023, a rally “Against the implementation of the next wave of mobilization of citizens of the Russian Federation” was held near the Embassy of Russia in the Czech Republic.
The main signal of the demonstrators was an appeal to all Russians not to succumb to the criminal orders of their authorities and not to participate in the armed aggression against Ukraine.
Against the background of the diplomatic institution of the aggressor country, Ukrainians stretched a banner calling to save their lives and not commit war crimes in Ukraine. Also the demonstrators told about the Ukrainian project from surrender in captivity “I want to live”.
The organizers of the rally was the Ukrainian NGO “Voice of Ukraine”. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora in the Czech Republic and local activists.
It is worth noting that since the launch of the project on the “I want to live” hotline, about 1,200,000 people have applied for help, most from the territory of Russia.
